Oregon Launches Relief Funding and Compensation Program

State-run programs available through Business Oregon and Oregon Housing & Community Services Department

March 1, 2021 -- Two new programs, designed to offer relief to Oregonians have been announced. The first, administered by Business Oregon, is a Commercial Rent Relief Funding program. Program criteria is being developed and additional information will be available on Business Oregon’s website next week. You can also subscribe for updates to be notified once the full program launches.

A second program, launched by the Oregon Housing and Community Services department, is designed to assist landlords who have been unable to collect tenant rent due to tenant financial hardships. The Landlord Compensation Fund provides relief to those that qualify, and can be applied for through an online application portal. For more information, visit the following website.
