The City of Seaside has launched Seaside 2050: A Vision for Tomorrow, a year-long community engagement effort to update the city's Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is the city's guiding land use document that includes goals and policies for managing expected growth over a 20-year period. City leaders use the Comprehensive Plan to coordinate public investments and make decisions about housing, infrastructure, transportation and a variety of other topics.
The first step in the Comprehensive Plan update process was to create a community vision for the future of Seaside. The second step is to review and revise the Draft Vision Statement.
This statement has been shaped by valuable input from our community engagement efforts so far. Your insights are crucial in ensuring that the vision statement truly represents the ideas and aspirations of our community. Please take 5-10 minutes to share your thoughts with us.
