The City of Seaside is accepting applications for temporary summer help 40 hours
a week (starting May 15 thru September 30th). Work will consist of driving trash
collection truck and trash collection, cleaning restrooms, mowing, and other general
labor tasks. Applicants must be able to work Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and some
weekdays. Must have a current Oregon driver’s license and able to meet the acceptable
driving record per insurance criteria. Ability to operate standard transmission is
necessary. Final candidate must be able to pass a drug screen and medical exam to be
able to perform the essential functions of the job. Salary is $12.00 per hour. Position

Seaside Fire & Rescue is currently accepting applications for the position of Beach Lifeguard.
This is a seasonal, part-time, position from Memorial weekend through the Labor Day.
Applicants meeting the minimum requirements will be invited to test.
Testing will include:
1) A timed 550 yd pool swim in 10 minutes or less; 2) An ocean swim; 3) Demonstration of
proficiency in rescuing victims with and without a rescue board.
