City Recorder

The City of Seaside City Recorder, Kim Jordan, performs Secretarial, Clerical and related administrative services for the City Manager, Assistant to the City Manager/Human Resource Director, Mayor and City Council.

The City Recorder records City Council and Improvement Commission proceedings and maintains official records of Council and Commission actions and recommendations.

The City Recorder also prepares ordinances and resolutions and assist as needed the elections officer for the City, and files official City documents, contracts, resolutions, and ordinances.

The City Recorder is in charge of the Proposed Special Events in the City of Seaside. If there are planned events in the City a form needs to be filled out and turned into City Hall for approval.
