Public Comment Registration
The Seaside City Council reviewed and passed a Public Comment Administrative Process and Policy on February 14, 2022 establishing basic guidelines for the various methods of providing comments at public meetings. In order to participate in the comment period for City Council or Planning Commission Meetings, participants must register prior to the event. Please complete the form below to offer public comment at an upcoming City Council or Planning Commission meeting. You may provide public comment in four (4) different methods:
- In-person (meetings are held at Seaside City Hall - 989 Broadway, Seaside, OR)
- Via Zoom web conference,
- Via Zoom on a cellular or landline telephone,
- Written comments may be submitted using this form, via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or in person at Seaside City Hall (989 Broadway, Seaside, OR)
The agenda and packet for City Council meetings are available on the Friday prior to the meeting. The agenda and packet for Planning Commission meetings are available seven (7) days prior to the meeting. The agenda and packet for the City Council or the Planning Commission are available on the City of Seaside's website, through City Hall (989 Broadway), or at the Planning Department (1387 Avenue U.)
If you are providing public comment in person or via Zoom, please keep in mind your comments will be limited to three (3) minutes. If your comments will be longer than three (3) minutes please submit your comment in writing and utilize your three (3) minutes to summarize your written document. Please review the Public Comment Rules of Conduct prior to the meeting.
Please Note: The City of Seaside has chosen to utilize the Zoom platform as our preferred electronic means for both virtual and hybrid meetings (in-person and virtual combined).
