Planning Department

The Seaside Planning Department strives to ensure sustainable, responsible, growth and development in the Seaside community. The Planning Director serves as the staff liaison to the Seaside Planning Commission. Planning Department staff conducts research and prepares reports and findings to support land use decisions made by the Planning Director or the Planning Commission.

Planning Department staff are available to answer land use, zoning, and vacation rental questions Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
