NOTICE OF SPECIAL EXECUTIVE SESSION MEETING, City of Seaside, Oregon
Notice is hereby given that the Seaside City Council will conduct Executive Session Meetings on Monday, January 9, 2023. This is part of the agenda item for City Council and the regular meeting starts at 6:00 PM, in the Conference Room, at Seaside City Hall, 989 Broadway. The purpose of the executive session meetings:
Council to conduct an Executive Session in Accordance with ORS 192.610 (1) (i) Regarding Performance of Public Officer and Employee
The executive session is being held pursuant to ORS 192.610 (1)(i), Regarding Performance of Public Officer and Employee
The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. A request for an interpreter for the hearing impaired or for other accommodations for persons with disabilities should be made at least 48 hours prior to the executive session. Please contact Kim Jordan, City Recorder, who will handle accommodation requests, at (503) 738-5511, or kjordan@cityofseaside.us to make a request for an interpreter or other accommodations for persons with disabilities.
The Public Meetings Law authorizes governing bodies to meet in executive session in certain limited situations. ORS 192.660. An “executive session” is defined as “any meeting or part of a meeting of a governing body which is closed to certain persons for deliberation on certain matters.”
