2024 Clatsop County Police Citizen’s Academy

The 2024 Clatsop County Police Citizens Academy is accepting applications!

This is a great opportunity to learn more about your police agency, as well as others in Clatsop County. The classes are from April 22 to June 17, 2024 and meet on Mondays from 6 to 9 p.m. Citizens will have the opportunity to tour local police agencies, the District Attorney's Office, as well as the Clatsop County Jail. You will get to participate in a defensive tactics class, shooting at the range, learn about Taser application, and more. There are classes with local detectives from the Major Crime's Team, DUII Enforcement officers, jail staff and other officer who specialize in specific law enforcement fields.
