City Seeks Proposals for Legal Services

Seaside, Ore. - November 1, 2022 -  The City of Seaside announced today an invitation for interested individual attorneys and law firms to submit written proposals to provide City Attorney and Legal Services to the City of Seaside. 

As routine services, it is requested that the firm and/or attorney selected would advise city officials on matters relating to city business, attend city council meetings, serve as the city's municipal court prosecutor and provide legal opinions on matters relating to city activities. It is expected that the individual(s) selected would also prepare or review staff-developed ordinances, resolutions, contracts, agreements, deeds and related documents.

Non-routine services include representation of the city in litigation and threatened litigation, as well as proceedings before the state and federal courts, and administrative tribunals as needed.  

A copy of the complete proposal packet is included in this release and can be requested by calling Seaside City Hall at (503) 738-5511. Proposals are due to Seaside City Hall no later than Friday, December 9, 2022 at 4 p.m. PST.
