Stay Up-to-Date with the City of Seaside

It has been one year since the City of Seaside rolled out a new website. The new and improved website has given city staff an avenue to more effectively and efficiently communicate with Seaside residents and visitors. Staff regularly update information on the City's meeting calendar, agendas and packets for public meetings, as well as news events and alerts that are pertinent to City business. 

In an effort to further communicate with residents and visitors, staff plan to start pushing information out via the subscribe feature that can be found on the main page of the City of Seaside website. Users can enter their email address and select which items of City business they would like to receive notifications about. If new content is uploaded by staff, or changes are made to existing content, users that have elected to be notified will then receive a notification of the change via email, with a link to access the information they had previously subscribed to receive. 

Although staff is just starting to use this feature, several members of the Seaside community have already subscribed to receive these notifications. If you are a current subscriber, you can expect to start receiving notifications for the information you requested to receive. Through the subscription form, users have the ability to unsubscribe if they wish to no longer receive e-mailed notifications. However, if you are comfortable receiving these alerts, you should start seeing these with more regularity depending on the level of alert(s) you signed up for.
